The Return of the Feminine:
A Gathering for Women

Saturday, June 5, 2010 – 10:00am - 4:00pm

How we can reclaim
the sacred essence
of the feminine,
how can we use her
innate knowing
to bring forth
the transformation that
is most needed
now!

Nothing can be born without the feminine. There is a Sufi saying that says that woman will never get old otherwise creation will die. Women have this magical substance in their being that has to do with the real mystery of creation as only women can give birth to a human being, can bring the light of a divine soul into this world. The creative energy of all YES. And thus all creativity is to do with the relationship with life, it is not a product that can be rationalized. It is about the mystery of being. When we deny the divine mystery of the feminine, we also deny something fundamental to life.

There is a pressing need within ourselves and within the earth at this time to reclaim that feminine inner knowing that always was. Being together we will return to that core that is calling us.

Lunch will be provided.
Advance registration required. Thank you!

Anat Vaughan-Lee met her Sufi teacher in England when she was 21, and has followed the Naqshbandi Sufi path ever since. She also studied with the English mystical painter and writer Cecil Collins, and taught for many years using his unique method of teaching, both in England and then in the USA where she has lived for the past 20 years.
For many years she has been working with groups and dreamwork in the Sufi tradition which encourages the deep feminine way of inner listening. In 2003 she was part of the first Global Peace Initiative for Women conference with the UN in Geneva. She also spoke at the GPIW gathering in Jaipur, India in 2008.
Recognizing the need and urgency of the moment for the re-emergence of the feminine, she encouraged her husband, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, to put together all his talks and writings of the past ten years about the Feminine and about the Anima Mundi which became the book The Return of the Feminine and the World Soul.
Anat Vaughan-Lee is a wife, mother and grandmother.
