
Founded in 1985, The Hopi Foundation is a traditional values-based organization that promotes self-sufficiency, proactive community participation, self-reliance, and local self-determination among communities on the Hopi reservation through a variety of programs and services that “help people help themselves.”
The Hopi Foundation serves twelve Hopi and Tewa villages in northern Arizona through leadership training, capacity building, media, and agricultural projects. Strengthening communities through collaborative actions, The Hopi Foundation believes in attending to the communities in which they live and building the skills of Hopi people.
