Marshview Community Organic Farm

Led by Sara’ and Bill Green, Marshview Community Organic Farm is a five-acre farm located on Saint Helena Island, South Carolina committed to restoring and retaining Gullah Geechee traditions. Marshview trains young farmers of the low country in sustainable agriculture; cooking, eating, and planting in season; health and wellness; and the practice of “loving kindness.” Marshview also offers Gullah cooking classes and prepares, serves, and delivers meals to the community through its Home Cooked Meals program. Gullah history and culture awareness are the foundation of all programming and are brought to the community through original plays and performances by the young farmers.
